BRANDED ENTERTAINMENT VETERAN BRETT LYONS JOINS NEXTMEDIUM TO LEAD WEST COAST BRAND PARTNERSHIPS

Los Angeles, CA – September 18, 2008 – NextMedium, creator of the leading online marketplace for product placement, today announced that branded entertainment industry veteran, Brett Lyons, has joined the company as Vice President, West Coast Brand Partnerships.

Brett Lyons is considered one of the foremost experts in the field of branded entertainment. Over the last 18 years, he has worked with major national advertisers and their agencies to develop and sell opportunities within broadcast network and cable television, syndication, feature film, online, video games and mobile industries.

He most previously worked as Senior Vice President, Brand Development & Integrations at Madison Road Entertainment, Brett worked directly with national advertisers at the CMO/SVP Marketing level and their agencies as well as content producers. His clients included: P&G, Wal-Mart, Masterfoods, Levi’s, Unilever, Motorola, Toyota, Pizza Hut, VISA, Pfizer, Orbitz, Dell, Genworth, Coca Cola, Campbell’s, Ask.com and others.

Brett will join NextMedium’s Los Angeles offices and will help represent many of NextMedium’s properties including shows from NBC Universal, Black Entertainment Television (BET) and music videos by artists under contract with Universal Music Group (Interscope/IGA).
